Nikki van Es testes the resillience of nature on mulberry paper. The long fibers of Taizan, Japanese paper made from mulberry tree, make it possible to cut out the drawings “to the bone”. The transparency gives the possibility of using both sides of the sheet to show. By holding a drawing up to the light, its contents are revealed.
